How MPC Smith Works
MPC Smith operates as a standalone application on your Mac that:
- Reads audio files from your local storage when you choose to import them
- Processes and converts audio files locally on your device
- Saves project files and exported programs to your chosen local directories
- Does not require an internet connection to function
- Does not communicate with external servers
File Access
MPC Smith only accesses files that you explicitly choose to import or export. The app uses standard macOS file dialogs to ensure you have full control over which files the application can access. All file processing happens locally on your Mac.
Third-Party Services
MPC Smith does not integrate with any third-party services, analytics platforms, or advertising networks. The app operates independently without external dependencies.
App Store
MPC Smith is distributed through the Mac App Store. Apple may collect information about app downloads and purchases according to their own privacy policy. We do not have access to this information.
